GTM Engineer
Parameter ai San Francisco, United States$120k–$200kPosted Today
About the role
- Parameter is a seed-stage YC company based in San Francisco that builds AI agents to run penetration tests on production applications and cloud environments. Its agents find access control bugs, IDORs, XSS, and cloud misconfigurations that scanners miss.
- Parameter has reported real, high-severity vulnerabilities to well-known technology companies, and that work brings in most of its customers.
- As the first go-to-market hire, you will work directly with the founders to build pipeline, from identifying the right accounts and booking meetings to helping close deals.
- The role combines sales, marketing, and technical execution. You will build your own prospecting workflows, landing pages, and ad-spend tracking tools rather than waiting on engineering.
- This role is onsite in San Francisco.
Responsibilities
- Build and manage outbound across email, LinkedIn, and events, including targeting, messaging, and follow-up.
- Set up and maintain prospecting, enrichment, and CRM workflows with tools like Clay, Apollo, and HubSpot or Attio.
- Run paid campaigns on LinkedIn, Google, and X, manage the budget, and report on what turns into pipeline.
- Launch landing pages, free tools, content, and partnerships that bring in qualified leads.
- Take early sales and discovery calls alongside the founders.
- Track pipeline and channel performance and report on it weekly.
Requirements
- At least 2 years in growth, sales, or marketing at a startup, or experience founding or growing your own company.
- A demonstrable track record, such as pipeline, revenue, or customers you brought in.
- Experience running paid ads and measuring their return.
- Comfort with scripting, automation, or building small tools; AI coding tools count.
- Clear, concise writing.
- Comfort talking with technical buyers such as CISOs, security engineers, and CTOs.
- Authorization to work in the United States. Visa sponsorship is not available at this time.
- Nice to have: experience selling to security or developer teams.
- Nice to have: an engineering or technical background.
Benefits
- Equity.
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance.
- Relocation assistance to San Francisco.
- Team lunches and dinners in the office.
Interview process
- Introductory call with a founder, lasting 45 minutes.
- Paid work trial lasting about one day.
- Team conversations and reference checks.
