Full-time
GTM Engineer
BitSight Technologies Boston, Massachusetts, United States$135k–$165kPosted 7d ago
About the role
- Bitsight is a global leader in cybersecurity risk and third-party risk management, helping organizations understand, manage, and reduce their own cyber exposure and that of vendors and partners. Its solutions span enterprise security performance, digital supply chains, cyber insurance, and data analysis, helping companies prioritize cybersecurity investments, build trust, and reduce the risk of financial loss.
- Bitsight invented the cyber ratings industry in 2011, serves more than 3,500 customers, and has over 600 teammates across Boston, Raleigh, New York, Lisbon, Singapore, and remote locations.
- As Bitsight's first GTM Engineer, you will design and build infrastructure that turns go-to-market strategy into repeatable, automated execution. The role sits at the intersection of engineering, data, and revenue strategy, connecting and automating systems used by sales teams.
- You will help shape the adoption of AI-native GTM tools, deciding what to adopt, build internally, or decline as Bitsight invests in systems that help sales, marketing, and customer success teams work faster and smarter.
- This is a full-time, on-site role in Boston, Massachusetts.
Responsibilities
- Support the AI-native GTM roadmap by continuously evaluating emerging platforms and tools, contributing to build-versus-buy-versus-integrate analysis, and leading migrations from legacy point solutions to better AI-native alternatives.
- Build and deploy AI-assisted workflows using LLMs and agentic approaches for account research, call and transcript analysis, personalized outreach, and internal tooling.
- Design and maintain scalable GTM automation for enrichment, prioritization, and sequencing without manual intervention.
- Integrate systems such as Salesforce, Clari, ZoomInfo, Gainsight, Snowflake, and Claude so data flows cleanly across the stack.
- Engineer data quality and governance through validation, deduplication, and enrichment pipelines that RevOps, sales, and marketing can trust.
- Partner with Sales and RevOps leadership to translate business problems into technical systems and explain technical tradeoffs to nontechnical stakeholders.
- Treat pipeline generation and conversion as engineering problems: test hypotheses, measure results, and scale successful approaches rather than adding one-off point solutions.
- Document workflows, integrations, and logic so others can understand, trust, and extend them independently.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in technical business systems, GTM Engineering, RevOps, Sales Ops, or a related applied technical role.
- Strong SQL skills and working proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Python or JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience with APIs and webhooks, including connecting systems that were not designed to work together.
- Deep CRM knowledge, ideally Salesforce; administrator- or developer-level configuration experience is a plus.
- Fluency in ICP definition, lead scoring, pipeline and funnel metrics, attribution, and sales processes, with an understanding of why workflows matter to sales representatives and account executives.
- Experience with automation tools such as Clay, Workato, n8n, Zapier, or equivalent platforms.
- A builder's mindset, prioritizing systems with compounding value over one-off campaigns, and comfort working with ambiguity and limited blueprints.
- A portfolio of shipped workflows, integrations, or automations with measurable impact, such as improved response times, increased conversion, or hours saved. Demonstrated work carries more weight than a specific degree or title history.
- Familiarity with the GTM AI tooling ecosystem and the ability to make informed build-versus-buy decisions quickly.
- Preferred: experience with data warehouses or BI tools such as Snowflake and Looker.
- Preferred: experience deploying LLM-powered or agentic workflows in a GTM context.
- Preferred: Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Platform Developer, or Developer certification.
- Preferred, but not required: a background in cybersecurity, security ratings, or third-party risk management.
