GTM Engineer (Content & Generative Search)

Agentplace Remote$36k–$42kPosted 4d ago

About the role

  • Agentplace is building an AI-native workspace where teams create and work with AI agents. Its focus is a full business suite built around agents, rather than another no-code tool.
  • The company is based in San Francisco and has been featured in VentureBeat, USA Today, and Fast Company.
  • This hands-on GTM Engineer role turns market attention into distribution and users, with content as the primary focus and Generative Search Optimization (GSO) as a second distribution channel.
  • GSO involves getting Agentplace into AI search and LLM answers. A teammate already leads this channel; you will help scale it.
  • Work closely with the founder and product team to test positioning, messaging, and growth channels. With no dedicated marketing team yet, you will own both strategy and execution.

Responsibilities

  • Spot emerging market narratives and turn them into content and clear use cases.
  • Run daily distribution on LinkedIn, X, and other relevant channels.
  • Publish posts, demos, threads, and short videos.
  • Help grow GSO alongside the teammate leading it.
  • Adapt content and narratives for AI search and LLM answers, measure visibility, and iterate.
  • Constantly test messages, hooks, and narratives.
  • Run growth experiments across landing pages, content, and channels, measuring results and iterating quickly.
  • Success means consistent, high-quality content and strong distribution; a stronger GSO channel and growing AI search visibility; more inbound interest and new users; clear product narratives grounded in experiments; and fast iteration on messaging and use cases.

Requirements

  • The posting lists three years of experience.
  • Strong hands-on approach and focus on results.
  • Deep GTM expertise and the ability to bring original ideas rather than follow someone else's playbook.
  • A feel for the audience and narratives that capture attention.
  • Experience running content distribution for a startup or product.
  • Understanding of GSO as a channel and willingness to grow it.
  • Ability to turn product features into clear stories and content.
  • Understanding of growth loops and an experiment-driven approach.
  • Comfort with fast iteration.
  • Nice to have: experience in AI, developer tools, or SaaS; a track record of growing an audience on LinkedIn, X, or YouTube; experience working with founders on early-stage GTM; and the ability to make simple product demos or short videos.

Benefits

  • Fully remote contract role, hiring worldwide.
  • Preferred time zones: Pacific, Central, Eastern, Atlantic, Turkey, and Dubai.
  • Relocation is allowed. Visa sponsorship is not available.

How to apply

  • Complete a test task expected to take three to four hours.
  • Sign up at agentplace.io, build an AI agent for any niche, and publish it publicly. Use the free Luna model.
  • Create a mini launch for your agent: a LinkedIn post, an X thread, a demo video of up to 60 seconds using Loom or a screen recording, and three alternative hooks for the post.
  • Ask ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Claude three questions where Agentplace should appear in the answer, such as "best AI agent builder for small business." Note which alternatives appear and suggest content that would get Agentplace into those answers.
  • Email the link to your agent, your content, the video, and your GSO findings to the application email address shown in the posting, which is obscured in the provided page text.
  • Optionally publish your post and include the link to demonstrate your distribution in action.
  • Applications are reviewed by email only. Applications submitted through the job board's Apply button without the completed test task will not be considered.
  • The company reviews applications quickly and will contact successful candidates with an offer.
