GTM Engineer, Marketing

Tremendous Remote$135k–$180kPosted 4d ago

About the role

  • Tremendous is a global platform that enables businesses to send thousands of payouts to anyone, anywhere, for free. More than 20,000 organizations, including Atlassian, MIT, and United Way, trust it to deliver gift cards and money to millions of recipients worldwide.
  • Customers include researchers, marketers, HR teams, and nonprofits, who value how fast and easy the platform is to use. See customer reviews on G2.
  • Tremendous is profitable and growing without outside investors. Its fully remote, high-documentation, low-meeting culture is designed to make work more efficient, flexible, and fulfilling.
  • The GTM Engineer focused on marketing will integrate LLMs, workflow tools, and low-code capabilities to build agentic solutions that automate the marketing team's highest-leverage workflow problems.
  • Work alongside brand, content, product marketing, paid, and events marketing teams.
  • This role is remote within the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Design and build agentic workflows across the full campaign lifecycle, from product marketing through design and content to demand generation.
  • Evaluate and deploy AI tools for marketing. Run structured pilots and operationalize successful tools across campaign ideation, execution, and analysis.
  • Partner with the Data team to build automated reporting pipelines that unify cross-channel marketing performance across paid, organic, email, and event channels.
  • Build AI-assisted lead scoring and qualification with the marketing planner.
  • Enable marketers to run channel work through AI agents, including paid campaign optimizations, creative uploads, and lifecycle campaign setup in HubSpot.
  • Build reusable tools and workflows that marketers can run independently, making the whole team faster rather than becoming a bottleneck.

Requirements

  • 5–8 years of experience in marketing operations, marketing technology, or GTM engineering, with practical understanding of campaign lifecycles and channel reporting.
  • Experience building zero-to-one workflows across tools with messy inputs and real judgment calls, rather than maintaining applications on a custom code base.
  • Hands-on experience building with LLM APIs, AI agent frameworks, and workflow automation tools such as Cargo, Zapier, Make, or n8n. Experience shipping agentic workflows, not just experimenting with them.
  • Comfort with APIs, webhooks, and basic scripting, including working beyond the limits of no-code tools.
  • A process-first mindset: map workflows and identify failure points before selecting tools.
  • A bias toward rapid experimentation: launch, measure, and iterate weekly.
  • Strong written communication for a documentation-first culture.
  • An autonomous, self-directed approach rather than waiting for instructions.
  • High empathy for teammates and users.

Nice to haves

  • Experience with marketing-specific AI tools such as Writer, AirOps, or Phrase.
  • Familiarity with SaaS martech stacks, including HubSpot, Salesforce, CDPs, and ABM platforms.
  • SQL and Snowflake experience for reporting pipelines.
  • A brand or creative operations background, with an understanding of how designers work and what makes a good brief.
  • Experience with Cursor, Claude, or similar AI-assisted development tools.

Benefits

  • Immediate, measurable impact on concrete problems, with visible wins in weeks.
  • An AI-forward team that uses Cursor daily, evaluates AI tools monthly, and has leadership support.
  • A profitable, growing company without outside investors.
  • Competitive pay, equity, and benefits.
  • Fully remote work with a high-documentation, low-meeting culture.
  • International company offsites.
  • Smart colleagues and a strong culture. See the company handbook.
