GTM Engineer

Siro New York City, United States$190k–$215kPosted 3d ago

About the role

  • Siro is redefining how field sales teams learn, perform, and win. Field sales reps face heavy administrative workloads, managers are stretched thin, and leaders lack visibility into what happens in the field.
  • Originally an AI-powered coaching platform, Siro has evolved into an intelligent companion that automates administrative work, gives managers real-time visibility, and helps executives anticipate what comes next. Its platform integrates with systems like Salesforce and analyzes thousands of in-person sales conversations to surface insights, automate workflows, and improve outcomes. It is designed to be proactive, personalized, and embedded in the tools teams already use.
  • Siro has raised $75M from investors including Index, Fika, CRV, and SignalFire. It serves leading home-improvement, retail, hospitality, and automotive brands, with a lean team from Meta, McKinsey, Doordash, and Uber.
  • As Siro’s first dedicated GTM Engineer, you will build the data flows that help the company find and win new customers, from sourcing third-party data to connecting its CRM, product data, and outbound tools.
  • This is a builder role shaping the systems behind the GTM organization’s outbound motion. The initial priority is executing a roadmap intended to significantly improve SDR effectiveness. Over time, you will analyze the resulting data to determine what works best for Siro and guide future development.

Responsibilities

  • Build and automate end-to-end GTM data flows. Translate scoped requirements into triggers and pipelines that source, enrich, and sync data across tools, capturing digital signals that help sellers focus on the right accounts.
  • Own the GTM data layer. Keep data entering the CRM and data warehouse clean, deduplicated, and trustworthy, and maintain field definitions, integrations, and sync logic.
  • Document and maintain systems so they do not fail silently and are easy for new team members to understand and use.
  • Work closely with GTM leaders to pressure-test scopes, flag material edge cases, estimate effort, and advocate for simpler approaches where appropriate.
  • Refine analysis and reporting by writing queries and models behind pipeline, funnel, and account-level reporting.
  • Analyze operating systems and make data-driven recommendations about what Siro should build next.
  • Technically evaluate potential platforms and datasets to help determine where Siro should and should not invest for its sellers.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience in data science, data or analytics engineering, and/or GTM engineering.
  • Strong Python and SQL skills.
  • Experience building and maintaining data pipelines, API integrations, and/or ETL workflows.
  • Comfort working with CRM data from HubSpot or Salesforce and handling its messiness.
  • Experience with GTM tools such as Clay, Freckle.io, and/or Deepline.
  • A track record of reliably delivering someone else’s specification on time, with strong judgment about edge cases.
  • An AI-forward mindset, ideally developed through using LLMs or AI agents within workflows.
  • Clear written communication, including the ability to explain a technical tradeoff to a sales leader in a few sentences.
  • Curiosity about how sales teams operate and what makes them successful.
  • Nice to have: experience at an early-stage B2B SaaS company.
  • Nice to have: a technical degree in computer science, statistics, mathematics, or engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Nice to have: familiarity with outbound platforms such as Nooks, Outreach, and/or Trelllus.

Benefits

  • Siro is committed to a diverse and inclusive environment where applicants and employees feel equally respected and valued. It provides equal employment opportunities without regard to race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status.
