GTM Senior Business Systems Analyst, Pre-Sales

Ramp Remote$134k–$209kPosted Today

About the role

  • Ramp builds smart infrastructure for finance teams embedded in business transactions. It automates more than $275 billion in annualized spend across 85,000+ companies, including payment authorization, risk detection, spend categorization, and closing books.
  • The work involves high-stakes, data-dense problems. Ramp values high agency, urgency, demonstrated building ability, and end-to-end ownership over training pedigree.
  • The median Ramp customer saves 7.5% and grows revenue 16% in its first year, exceeding businesses operating without Ramp.
  • Ramp is expanding its business systems team following substantial growth. You will partner directly with Sales, Account Management, Partnerships, and Product to execute mission-critical systems projects and influence growth through systems development.
  • This is a remote role for applicants in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Own top-of-funnel GTM systems, including their roadmap, architecture decisions, and operational health.
  • Manage HubSpot as a governed system: workflows, lists, forms, properties, lifecycle stages, campaign structure, permissions, and naming conventions.
  • Keep HubSpot and Salesforce aligned through field mappings, inclusion lists, sync-error triage, and deduplication rules. Maintain clean Growth lists through ICP segmentation, suppression logic, enrichment, and email validation.
  • Build and deploy Salesforce automation, including record-triggered and screen flows, validation rules, custom objects and fields, permission sets, and approvals.
  • Own the entire path from form submission to booked meeting: capture, enrichment, deduplication, routing, sequence enrollment, and speed to lead. Maintain operational health at every step.
  • Prioritize incoming requests based on ROI, decide what to build, defer, or decline, and support decisions with numbers.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment on scope, sequencing, and tradeoffs, carrying work through to completion independently.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in business systems, marketing operations, or revenue operations at a fast-paced company.
  • Deep hands-on HubSpot experience building and debugging workflows and designing list, form, and property architecture, with an understanding of how instances degrade without governance.
  • Salesforce Admin certification or equivalent hands-on experience, including building and debugging complex flows and understanding why declarative automation fails at scale.
  • Practical ownership of funnel definitions, including lead source, campaign membership, UTM capture, and the MQL-to-SQL handoff, with trusted attribution reporting.
  • Ability to frame problems, resolve ambiguous requests, make decisions, and ship without waiting for a specification.
  • A hands-on approach to building elegant, scalable solutions and using AI to automate work where it is effective.
  • Ability to dissect problems, drive them to completion with little supervision, and explain tradeoffs to any audience.

Requirements — Nice to have

  • Marketing systems expertise beyond CRM, including paid media and ad platform integrations, lifecycle email programs, landing page and form tools, deliverability, and list hygiene at sending volume.
  • Cross-functional program management experience across engineering, sales, and finance.
  • A product mindset for internal tooling: treating stakeholders as users, shipping in phases, and measuring adoption after launch.
  • Experience with Snowflake, Looker, or similar BI and warehouse tools.
  • Working knowledge of Apex or Lightning Web Components sufficient to recognize when declarative solutions are unsuitable.
  • Experience with Linear or similar project management software.

Benefits

  • Global full-time employee benefits: flexible PTO, centralized home-office equipment ordering, health and wellness stipend, intra-office travel budget, and weekly coffee stipend.
