As a Sr. AI GTM Engineer, you will design and ship internal AI products and processes that transform how Vanta's go-to-market teams operate. You will embed with Sales, Customer Success, and Revenue Operations to accelerate pipeline generation, improve win rates, and scale customer engagement.
You will own end-to-end outcomes, move quickly from concept to production, and shape how customers experience Vanta in the field. This role is for AI-focused builders who want to work closely with users and solve complex business problems through technical solutions.
The GTM Engineering team operates as an internal incubator at the intersection of engineering and GTM. It applies AI at scale to customer engagement, building tools that reshape conversations, learn from customer interactions, and demonstrate the platform's value, from rapid prototypes to production-grade systems.
This is a full-time, remote role for applicants in the United States.

Ideate and build products that transform how Vanta generates new business, engages prospects and customers, and grows existing customer relationships.
Own the full product lifecycle: prototype, iterate, ship, and maintain solutions to customer and internal workflow problems.
Partner with Vanta's CRO and executive leadership to architect and execute plans that put Vanta at the forefront of GTM organizations leveraging AI.
Apply AI and modern technologies to systematize and automate GTM workflows, including building fully agentic subject matter experts and sellers.
Design, develop, and maintain internal web applications and AI-driven agents using frameworks, APIs, Python, TypeScript, and SQL.
Ship reliable, maintainable systems with technical documentation, monitoring, and testing frameworks to support adoption and observability.
Translate lessons from customer-facing work into feedback for product and research teams to inform broader product development.
Evaluate and implement new technologies, orchestration tools, and AI platforms with a clear build-versus-buy perspective.

At least 5 years of software engineering experience, with a strong focus on building and shipping full-stack applications.
Experience building products from the ground up, navigating ambiguity, and owning outcomes in a fast-paced, resource-constrained environment.
Proficiency in Python and TypeScript/JavaScript, experience with React and Node.js, and strong SQL skills.
Experience applying AI and automation to business workflows. Experience with LLM APIs, prompt engineering, or workflow automation tools is a strong plus.
Experience working closely with nontechnical stakeholders in Sales, Operations, and Customer Success to translate business needs into technical requirements and deliver impactful solutions.
A product mindset focused on user experience, business impact, and systems people enjoy using, not just technical elegance.
Demonstrated ability to move quickly from prototype to production, make effective tradeoffs, and ship incrementally.
Excellent communication skills, including explaining technical decisions to business stakeholders and executive leadership.
Experience with Salesforce, HubSpot, Gong, Workato, n8n, Snowflake, or dbt is a plus.
