About the role
Mercury is building a new GTM Engineering function to connect the customer experience across marketing, sales, and the product, helping more businesses discover what Mercury can do for them.
As Senior Engineering Manager, you will build a new engineering function within an established product organization, starting with a team of 2–3 engineers. You will shape its technical direction and turn an early GTM engine into dependable production systems. Working closely with Product, Data, Marketing, and Revenue, your first priority will be connecting product and marketing efforts to understand what runs, what works, and how to improve it.
This is a hands-on leadership role involving unfamiliar systems, early solution development and validation, and helping engineers take ownership as solutions grow. The work spans TypeScript and Node.js services, Customer.io, Salesforce, and Snowflake, with connections to Mercury’s core application and Haskell backend.
Mercury is a fintech company, not an FDIC-insured bank. Banking services are provided through Choice Financial Group and Column N.A., Members FDIC.
